About This Workshop
This course is tailored to individuals who are new to the Hot Shop and working with hot glass. Yashu will cover basic ways to use glass studio equipment and tools safely and efficiently. In addition, he will cover the fundamental techniques involved in free-hand glass working and blowing.
Teamwork will be an essential part of this class and all students will be required to learn how to be a strong assistant. Yashu will show how to use a variety of unique tools, their own breath, and physics to create very unique glass vessels. This would be a great beginner workshop.
